I did my B.Sc. in Zoology at Madras University and then my M.Sc in Wildlife Science from Wildlife Institute of India. After completing my Masters I worked for a couple of years as a project assistant on, first, a project studying the influence of mating strategies on sexual selection, and then a project studying anti-predatory responses of mosquito larvae. Over the course of these experiences, I became extremely interested in mathematical ecology. I am now pursuing my PhD with Dr. Vishwesha Guttal at CES. My research interests are largely concerned with Animal Behaviour and Population Ecology but I really think I find almost EVERY topic in the fields ecology and evolution incredibly fascinating.
