is developing a research framework that emphasises the dynamics of the
human driving forces of change and socio-cultural and institutional
influences on these forces. The idea of the IHDP research project,
Industrial transformation, is that it will serve as a "scientific vehicle"
to catalyse research about understanding the human drives and mechanisms
that could enable a transformation of the industrial system towards
sustainability.
