ANGIOSPERMS
This is probably the first ever attempt to pool together all
the information on available reference literature on several
aspects of biodiversity (India); broadly organised under three categories
- flora, fauna and ecology. The literature list that follows is
by no means designed to be anywhere near completion. It merely
intends to highlight the locality specific publications that
already exist or due in a shortwhile. Some such references are
bound to have been left out whereas a great majority of reprints
in various journals had to be omitted at this initial stage due
to time and space constraints. Secondly, priority has been given
to works dealing with our project localities. Hence, one or two
relevant unpublished Ph.D. thesis have also been mentioned.
Several renowned national level publications have not been
incorporated wherever reliable local or regional reference works
exist. Addresses of major publishing companies have been listed
separately at the end and hence, have not been quoted at every
entry.
